World Sexual Health Day – 04 September 2024 “Positive Relationships”

World Sexual Health Day - Positive Relationships

It is World Sexual Health Day and this year’s theme is Positive Relationships.

The World Sexual Health Day (WSHD) is celebrated across the world every September 4th with the aim to promote a greater social awareness on sexual health across the globe.
In every relationship, whether with friends, family, or partners, the true strength lies in the foundation we build together.

When trust, respect, and understanding are at the core, these relationships not only survive but thrive, creating a safe and nurturing environment for everyone involved.

At Mountain Healthcare, we are bonded and driven by our core values of “Be Kind and Do the Right Thing.”

Breaking it down:

Be Kind: Supporting each other, welcoming differences, encouraging diversity, giving and receiving feedback, and thanking people for their contributions.
Do the Right Thing: Putting our patients first, seeing things through, taking responsibility, learning from our mistakes, and solving problems collaboratively.

These core values have helped us build successful and positive relationships with our staff, clients, stakeholders, and friends over the years. They continue to be the foundation on which we cultivate future connections.

As an organisation, we understand that #PositiveRelationships are more than just connections—they’re the support systems that uplift us in challenging times and celebrate with us in moments of victory.

Our SARCs will participating in a social media campaign to raise awareness by sharing various sexual health resources (Infographics) which cover various topics around the 2024 theme “Positive Relationships” while using the hashtag: #WSHD2024
