Mountain Healthcare Eastern Region SARCs Receive Free Mobile Devices to Support Service Users

Mountain Healthcare is pleased to announce the receipt of 300 Nokia 105 4G mobile devices, generously provided through Virgin Media O2 Business and 7Force Commercial Service. These devices have been allocated equally among our Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARCs) in the Eastern region, which includes Suffolk, Norfolk, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, and Essex

This valuable resource will ensure that patients who have lost their mobile devices, or whose devices are being used as evidence by police, can maintain critical connections with family, friends, and support services. Patients and individuals can access the emotional and practical support they require during challenging times.

Furthermore, this allocation will significantly strengthen our ability to provide high-quality care and services across the region.

The delivery of these mobile devices was coordinated by Evie Metcalfe, Social Value Lead at Virgin Media O2 Business. In addition, we received invaluable support to get signed up to the National Databank, allowing us to receive free-of-charge SIM cards for each device. Each SIM provides 20GB of data per month, unlimited calls and texts, for up to 12 months; ensuring sustained connectivity for those in need.

Mountain Healthcare is deeply grateful for this allocation and is committed to using it to improve outcomes for those who rely on our support.
